TIAA Bank Stadium, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars, is under scrutiny after recent health code violations. During the November 6 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, the stadium was visited by the health department. The concession stands were found to have over 100 violations, including dead rodents and other causes for concern. There were also seven concession stands that didn't have a valid license and weren't legally operational.

The concession stands are run by the company Delaware North, not under team ownership. According to Sports Illustrated, the concession stands resolved the issues within 24 hours and are able to operate once again.

Josh Lambo's lawsuit against Jacksonville Jaguars thrown out

Former Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Josh Lambo filed a lawsuit against the franchise earlier this year. Lambo sued the team for pay he said he was owed as well as damages that he suffered due to emotional distress and a hostile work environment. This, he alleged, was caused by former head coach Urban Meyer. Meyer was fired by the team mid-season in 2021. Lambo also alleged that Meyer kicked him in the leg during practice. Meyer has since denied those claims.

Judge Judge G.L. Feltel Jr. of the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court in Duval County dismissed the lawsuit on November 8. He stated that Lambo was not considered a whistleblower and that his leaving the franchise wasn't due to his complaints but due to his poor performances on the field.

The Judge also said that it doesn't appear that Lambo was the victim of retaliation. Lambo has been given 21 days to file an amended complaint to the court, which he apparently plans on doing. The Jaguars continue to state that Lambo was released in October 2021 because he had been unsuccessful at making field goals up to that point.

It will be interesting to see what happens next in this ongoing situation.
