Zachary Edward Martin is an American football guard for the Dallas Cowboys as of the 2024 NFL season. The Cowboys selected him with the 16th overall pick in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Martin made club history by being the first rookie to start all 16 games at right guard in the 2014 NFL season. In addition, he was named an All-Pro, making history as the third rookie to hold this distinction in team history. He is also tied for the most consecutive appearances at the Pro Bowl (6) for the Dolphins. The nine-time Pro Bowl completes a decade with the Cowboys playing the 2024 season.

Martin attended Bishop Chatard High School in Indianapolis. He was an impactful player in the school’s consecutive Class 3A state championship-winning seasons. Martin contributed to 114 pancake blocks earning him a first-team all-state selection as a senior. He was rated as a four-star recruit by Scout as he committed to the University of Notre Dame in 2009. Being redshirted as a freshman, he was included in all 13 games as a sophomore. Martin captained his team for the second consecutive year during his final college season. He was only the 18th player in school history to do so.
