About Las Vegas Raiders Schedule 2024-25

Las Vegas Schedule 2024-25.

The Las Vegas Raiders are entering the 2024 season with a new GM and head coach combo which has Raider Nation on the edge of their seats. After going 5-4 under Antonio Pierce to end the season in 2023, Raiders decided to remove the interim tag and make him 23rd head coach in franchise history.

Las Vegas signed Minshew Gardner in free agency to strengthen their QB room which also features second year QB Aidan O’Connell on its roster. According to media reports, there will be a competition between those two QBs for the starting spot. The Las Vegas Raiders schedule for the upcoming season is 10th toughest in the whole league, as per analysts.

There are lofty standards for Silver and Black after finishing 2nd in 2023. However, they are playing in one of the toughest divisions which features Mahomes, Reid, Jim Harbaugh, Herbert, and Sean Payton.

Las Vegas Raiders Key Games 2024-25

Las Vegas Raiders schedule will see them go up against stout defenses of AFC North and their own division which is stacked with elite quarterbacks. The below-given matchups might decide the outcome of the season for the Raiders.

Week 1 - September 08, 2024 - Las Vegas Raiders @ Los Angeles Chargers

The Las Vegas Raiders schedule has seen them pitted against their divisional foe in the opening game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. This high octane game will feature Justin Herbert coming back from an injury which made him miss the last part of the season.

The Chargers are also entering a new era under Jim Harbaugh. This game might come back to haunt the team who lose due to the weightage of divisional matchup, which is always higher than other games.

Both head coaches might want to start their tenure with a divisional win to get the fans behind the team.

Week 3 - September 22, 2024 - Las Vegas Raiders vs. Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers were the worst team in the NFL last year. After parting ways with Frank Reich, they are gonna enter the season with a rookie head coach and second year signal caller.

This is not a recipe for success in September as Panthers coaching staff would still be installing a new system which players would take time to adjust to. These circumstances might be the perfect opportunity for Silver and Black to come out on the winning side in their home opener.

Week 5 - October 6, 2024 - Las Vegas Raiders @ Denver Broncos

Another divisional game where Raiders might have an edge if Broncos started the season with their rookie QB Bo Nix. The Raiders under Antonio Pierce had one of the most destructive defensive lines last year and added Christian Wilkins to it.

Vegas has a chance to put its stamp on this game by pressuring Denver’s QB, no matter who starts for them. The Broncos have one of the weakest QB rooms in the whole league and if last year’s Raiders defense showed up, it might be difficult for Sean Payton’s team to come out with a win.

Week 15 - December 16, 2024 - Las Vegas Raiders vs. Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons are entering the 2024 season with Kirk Cousins and a new head coach. On paper, this might be one of the closest matchups in the whole Las Vegas Raiders schedule, but in the past Falcons have always failed to live up to their potential. This game will be important for both teams if they are contending for the playoffs. However for Raiders fans, there is a bit of bad news, Kirk Cousins has never lost against Silver and Black in his career and has a 2-0 record against them.

Week 17 - December 29, 2024 - Las Vegas Raiders @ New Orleans Saints

The week 17 matchup will be a fascinating one due to high voltage drama behind it. Derek Carr, who was drafted by the Raiders went to New Orleans last year after spending the first nine years of his career with them. This is the only road game for Las Vegas in the last four weeks. Both these teams have an ambition and roster to reach the postseason in 2024.

If everything went according to their plans, this mouth watering contest might end up as a must win for each of them to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Where do Las Vegas Raiders play their games?

Raiders have played their home games at Allegiant stadium since their move to Las Vegas in 2020. They have previously played in Oakland and Los Angeles since their inception in 1960. Their previous home stadiums include Oakland Coliseum and Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to name the few.

What channels have Las Vegas Raiders games?

Most of the games on Las Vegas Raiders schedule will be covered by the CBS broadcasting network with other games spread out on various networks such as ESPN, FOX and NBC. They also have a primetime game against the Kansas City Chiefs which will air on Prime Video on Black Friday.
