The South Florida Bulls football team burst onto the scene in 1997, embodying the University of South Florida's ambitions with a fresh start. Alex Golesh, born June 24, 1984, is an American football coach leading the University of South Florida's football team. Originally from Moscow, he moved to the U.S. as a child, growing up in Brooklyn, New York, and Dublin, Ohio. He played football at Dublin Scioto High School before delving into coaching. Golesh started his coaching journey as an assistant at Westerville Central High School in Ohio and later became a student assistant at Ohio State. He's also coached at Northern Illinois and Oklahoma State.
