Born on October 16, 1999, Aaron Nesmith is an American small forward signed with the Indiana Pacers. Nesmith attended Porter-Gaud School in Charleston, South Carolina. He then played college basketball at Vanderbilt from 2018 to 2020. In his sophomore year at the college, Nesmith shot a team-leading 52.2% from 3-point land.

In the 2020 NBA Draft, Nesmith was selected 14th overall by the Boston Celtics. He spent his first two years with the Celtics and reached the NBA finals with them in 2022. However, in 2022, he was involved in a trade that sent him to the Indiana Pacers as part of the Malcolm Brogdon trade. At 6 feet 5 inches tall, he can play multiple positions, primarily as a shooting guard or small forward. During the 2023/24 season, Nesmith played 72 games and averaged 12.2 ppg, 3.8 RPG, and 1.5 apg on 41.9% shooting from deep.
