Daigneault has had two stints with the Oklahoma City Thunder as an assistant coach before finally receiving the call-up to become their new Head coach.

He began as an assistant coach for the Holy Cross. Three seasons later, Daigneault worked with future Thunder head coach Billy Donovan as an assistant for the University of Florida Basketball team, Florida Gators. 2014 saw Daigneault step foot in the NBA as he became the Oklahoma City Blue head coach.
