Bo Nix is an American football quarterback for the Denver Broncos as of the 2024 NFL season. The Denver Broncos selected him as the 12th overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Bo Nix's first stop in college came at Auburn University. In his true freshman year, Nix emerged as Auburn's starting quarterback and played for the Auburn Tigers from 2019 to 2021. He piled up more than 7,000 passing yards during his time at Auburn before transferring to Oregon in 2022. In his two seasons as a Duck, Nix threw for more than 8,000 yards which took his total collegiate passing yards above 15,000. His 61 starts in college are the most by a quarterback in NCAA history. Born on February 25, 2000, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, he attended Pinson Valley High School. He recorded 161 touchdowns and 12,000 total offensive yards. Bo Nix comes from a football-oriented family, where his father, Patrick Nix, also played as a quarterback at Auburn. Both of Nix's brothers also play college football, with one being a safety while the other playing the wide receiver position.
