Alec Ingold is an American fullback for the Miami Dolphins as of the 2024 NFL season. Ingold signed a contract with the Oakland Raiders in 2019 after going undrafted in the 2019 NFL draft. Ingold participated in 16 games, starting four of them in his rookie season. He had one touchdown and six receptions for 44 yards that season. Ingold finished with 12 catches for 110 yards and a score in his second season with the Raiders in 2020. In Week 10 of the 2021 season, Ingold had an ACL injury that ended his season. Ingold committed to a two-year deal with the Miami Dolphins in 2022. Throughout 2022, he made 14 starts and ended with two touchdowns. Ingold first enrolled at Northern Illinois University, but he ultimately decided to play collegiate football at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. According to his college profile, he appeared in ten games during his rookie campaign, hauling in 49 receptions for 131 yards and six touchdowns in 2015. In 2016, 2017, and 2018, he was selected to the Academic All-Big Ten list three times in a row. During his last year, he made 11 starts. Following the season, Ingold was selected for the 2019 Senior Bowl. He was the only actual fullback invited to the NFL Scouting Combine of 2019. During his last year of high school, Ingold won the Gatorade Wisconsin Player of the Year and the Associated Press Wisconsin Player of the Year awards at Bay Port High School.
