Cade Otton is a professional American football tight end for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL. The Buccaneers selected Otton as their 106th pick in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Otton attended Tumwater High School, where he began his football career. As a senior in high school, he recorded 39 passes for 733 yards and 13 touchdowns. Due to his amazing performances, Otton was named the Olympian newspaper's All-Area Football Player in 2016, as well as the Associated Press 2A state player of the year and Seattle Times all-state and Evergreen Conference 2A MVP in 2016. Otton began his collegiate career with the University of Washington in 2017.

Otton was named the Ultimate Bird Dawg at the UW postseason awards banquet in 2017. In 2018, Otton played 14 games while starting 10 of them. He recorded three passes for 55 yards and a touchdown in the Husky win over Oregon State and earned the Husky coaches' offensive player of the game honors the same year. Due to his amazing performance, he won the Travis Spring Most Outstanding Freshman Award at the UW postseason awards banquet in 2018. As a sophomore, Otton was named to the preseason watch list for the John Mackey Award and won the Husky Excellence Award at the team's postseason awards banquet in 2019. As a junior in 2020, he recorded seven receptions for 100 yards and one touchdown against Arizona and was named the UW coaches' offensive player of the game after the Arizona game. Otton was named first-team All-Pac-12 and earned All-American honors. Otton played 12 games as a senior in 2021 and won the Guy Flaherty Most Inspirational Award.
