Jake Matthews is an American football offensive tackle playing for the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL as of March 2025. Matthews’ NFL career began in Atlanta when the Falcons selected him in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft with the 6th overall pick. Matthews will be entering his 12th season in the pros when the 2025 season gets underway in September 2025. In his more than a decade-long career in Atlanta, Jake’s best trait has been his availability. The one-time pro bowler has not missed a single start in his NFL career as of March 2025, except during his rookie season, when he started 15 out of a possible 16 games.
