Jalen Ramsey is an American football player playing for the Miami Dolphins in the NFL at the cornerback position. Before finding his place among the Dolphins squad, he played for the Jacksonville Jaguars for four seasons from 2016 to 2019 and subsequently spent his four seasons with the Los Angeles Rams. Notably, with the Rams, he won the Super Bowl LVI against than AFC champions Cincinnati Bengals. He has also earned seven Pro Bowl selections consecutively from 2017 to 2023.

Ramsey was born in Smyrna, Tennessee. As a freshman, he attended Ensworth High School in Nashville, but later he transferred to Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee. Although football was his primary sport and he was rated as a five-star recruit by both Rivals.com and Scout.com, he also shone brightly in track and field. Initially deciding to play college football at the University of Southern California, Ramsey eventually chose Florida State University and committed to playing college football for Florida State Seminoles. In 2015, due to his remarkable performance, he was named a Consensus All-American. In the 2016 NFL draft, Ramsey was selected as the fifth overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first round.
