Leo Chenal is an American linebacker who is playing his fourth season with the Kansas City Chiefs as of the 2025 NFL season. The 6-foot-3-inch player went to Grantsburg High School and held the title of state Gatorade Football Player of the Year in 2019. In the same year, he also became the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association's small-school offensive and defensive player of the year. He also won basketball and track All-Lakeland titles and was named captain of the football team twice. He then enrolled at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

In the All-Big Ten Conference for 2020, Chenal was given an honorable mention. He was chosen as the first-team All-Big Ten and the Butkus-Fitzgerald Linebacker of the Year in his junior year. He skipped his senior year and was selected in the 2022 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. He went on to win two Super Bowls, in 2022 and 2023. As of January 2025, he has participated in 51 games and recorded 160 tackles, five sacks, and four pass deflections (via Pro Football Reference).
