Ted Karras, is an American football center for the Cincinnati Bengals as of the 2024 NFL season. The New England Patriots selected him as the 221st pick in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He appeared in Super Bowl LI in his rookie year in a 34-28 win over the Atlanta Falcons. After four seasons with the Patriots, Karras was signed by the Miami Dolphins in 2020. Although, just after a season, Karras made his return to the New England Patriots on a one-year deal in 2021. He was let go at the end of the season and later signed by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2022.

Growing up in Indianapolis, Karras attended Cathedral High School. He was a three-star recruit and also an All-Midwest Region pick by PrepStar. Karras was a part of the 4A state title-winning squad in 2008 and 2010. He was named to the Indiana Digest Top 15 and was on the list of Top 25 offensive guards by ESPN, as per the official website of the University of Illinois website. Karras committed to his home state by playing for the Illinois Fighting Illini football from 2011 to 2015. Being redshirted in 2011, he started all 12 games in 2012. Karras finished his college career with three consecutive mentions to All-Academic All-Big Ten from 2012 to 2015.
