Xavier Glenn Worthy is an American football wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, as of the 2024 NFL season. The Chiefs selected Worthy as the 28th overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Worthy scored a touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens in his debut in September 2024. Worthy recorded 59 receptions for 638 yards and six touchdowns in his rookie regular season. In the two games he has started in the playoffs, he has recorded 11 receptions for 130 yards and one touchdown, as per Pro Football Reference.

Growing up in California, Worthy attended Central East High School, Fresno. Worthy helped Central East win its first-ever CIF Division 1-AA state championship after a 15-0 season in 2019. Worthy was rated as a four-star recruit and no. 22 wide receiver in the country by ESPN. Worthy committed to the University of Texas A&M in 2021. He appeared in all 12 games as a freshman recording 62 receptions for 981 yards and 12 touchdowns, as per Texas Longhorns' official website. He was selected Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year and the AP Big 12 Newcomer of the Year. In the 39 games that he appeared for the Longhorns, Worthy recorded 197 receptions for 2,755 yards and 26 touchdowns, as per Sports Reference.
