Justin Jackson: A Brief Biography
Justin Aaron Jackson is an American professional basketball player, playing for the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA. Jackson was underwhelming during his time with the Sacramento Kings, but has taken massive strides since joining the Mavericks.
Justin Jackson graduated from Homeschool Christian Youth Association in Houston, Texas. He led the association team to the national championship in his junior year, before leading them to a strong campaign next year.
Following his graduation, Jackson joined the University of North Carolina, where he played three years, winning one NCAA Championship, and was also named ACC player of the year in 2017. Following these achievements, Justin Jackson declared for the 2017 NBA Draft. He was selected 15th overall by the Portland Trail Blazers, before being traded to the Sacramento Kings on draft night.
Justin Jackson is currently earning a little over $2 million per year and will be a restricted free agent in 2021.
