Duncan Robinson is an American small forward/shooting guard who plays for the Miami Heat in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born April 22, 1994, in York, Maine, U.S, to parents Elisabeth and Jeffrey, Robinson is the youngest of the three children. He has a sister named Marta, and a brother named Eli. He grew up in New Castle, New Hampshire.

Robinson attended Rye Junior High School and The Governor's Academy in Massachusetts. He played college basketball for NCAA Division III Williams College and then the Division I program at the University of Michigan. In his three years in Michigan, Robinson averaged 9.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game on 41.9% shooting from deep.

Robinson signed with the Miami Heat after going undrafted in the 2018, becoming the first former Division III player to play in an NBA game since 1999. During his time with the Heat, Robinson has reached the NBA Finals twice.
