Brett Robert Rypien is an American football quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings in the 2024 NFL season. He was signed as an undrafted agent by the Denver Broncos post the 2019 NFL Draft. Rypien appeared in 8 games over three seasons, before getting traded to Los Angeles Rams in 2022. Rypien signed with the Minnesota Vikings in August 2024. In order to make room for Daniel Jones, the Vikings waived him on January 7, 2025. However, he re-signed with the Vikings to join their practice squad on 9th January, 2025, as per Minnesota Vikings' official website.

Growing up in Washington, Rypien attended Shadle Park High School. He set Washington state records for career passing (13,044) and pass completions (1,006). Rypien was rated as a four-star recruit by Rivals and Scout, as per Boise State's official website. He won Washington 3A All-State Championship thrice and 2014 Washington State Player of the Year. Rypien committed to Boise State University in 2015. Rypien appeared in 50 games for the Broncos completing 1,036 passes for 13,581 yards and 90 touchdowns, as per Sports Reference.
