The New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams was born in East Palo Alto, California, and attended Palo Alto Senior High School in neighboring Palo Alto. The Green Bay Packers took him in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft with the 53rd overall pick. A standout player since his school days, the 6 ft 1 in wideout led his school to the CIF State Championship while playing both as a wide receiver and cornerback. The 3-time First-team All-Pro committed to California State University, Fresno, and played for the Bulldogs from 2011 to 2013. In his 3 years with the team, he was First-team All-MW twice and honored with All-American twice. Furthermore, he was also the recipient of the Paul Warfield Trophy in 2015. He concluded his collegiate career with 3,031 receiving yards and 38 touchdowns.

Adams’ amazing play has earned him the respect among his peers as he has been voted in the NFL Top 100 every year since 2018. He got traded to the New York Jets on 15th October 2024 to reunite with his former teammate Aaron Rodgers, with whom he played for his first eight years in Green Bay.
