Demetrius Knight’s collegiate football career has spanned multiple programs. He started at Georgia Tech in 2019, recruited as a dual-threat quarterback. He later switched to linebacker. Over three seasons with the Yellow Jackets, he played in 36 games. He recorded 51 tackles, including three for a loss, one sack, and two pass deflections. In 2023, he transferred to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. That season, he posted 96 tackles, six tackles for loss, three interceptions, and a touchdown. He was named First-Team All-American Athletic Conference, according to his Charlotte athletics roster. In 2024, he transferred to South Carolina Gamecocks.
