He played college football at Iowa and was drafted by the 49ers in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He is a three-time Pro Bowler and was a First-team All-Pro in 2019.

Kittle played college football at the University of Iowa before being drafted by the 49ers in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. A five-time Pro Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro (2019, 2023), he is widely regarded as one of the league's top tight ends. Kittle was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and later moved to Iowa.
