Missouri-born wide receiver Jameson Williams plays for the Detroit Lions in the 2024 NFL season. Williams was drafted by the Lions in the first round (12th pick) of the 2022 NFL Draft. Williams was also named as the finalist of the Biletnikoff Award entering the draft. Williams committed to Ohio State University before choosing to transfer to the University of Alabama in 2021.

During his tenure at Ohio State, Jameson made appearances in two Big Ten Championships and a college football playoff Sugar Bowl. Williams attended Cardinal Ritter College Prep leading them to a Class 3 state championship game. He caught 68 passes for 1,626 yards as a senior in high school.
