Jaylin Lane is an American football wide receiver who played at Virginia Tech between 2023 and 2024.. Before that, he spent three seasons at Middle Tennessee State (2020–2022). A native of Clover, South Carolina, Lane played high school ball at Clover High before kicking off his college career with the Blue Raiders. In 30 games at Middle Tennessee, he started 19 and had 124 receptions for 1,528 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was a First-Team All-Conference USA selection in 2021 and then repeated as a Second-Team selection in 2022.
Lane transferred to Virginia Tech ahead of the 2023 season. Over two seasons with the Hokies, he played in 24 games, with 20 starts.
