Two-time Super Bowl Champion L’Jarius Sneed was born in Minden, Louisiana, and plays cornerback for the Tennessee Titans as of the 2024 NFL season. Sneed was drafted in the fourth round (138th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. He attended Minden High School where he started as a wide receiver. In February 2016, Sneed committed to play for his home state Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. Sneed converted to cornerback during his college career. He participated in the 2020 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl as well. In his third season with the Chiefs, Sneed won the Super Bowl LVII recording seven tackles and defending two passes. He then followed it up with a magnificent 2023 season as he helped guide the team to yet another Super Bowl victory in Super Bowl LVIII. Sneed was traded to Nashville by the Chiefs in March 2024, where he later signed a 4-year $76.4 million contract.
In his early years, Sneed played as a wide receiver for Minden High School in his hometown Minden, Louisiana. However, he started playing at the cornerback position after committing to Louisiana Tech University. Later the versatile defender moved to safety during his senior season.
