Ozzy Trapilo, an offensive tackle for the Chicago Bears, was taken in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft. The 56th overall pick from the 2025 NFL draft was a Boston College Eagles player from 2020-2024. Ozzy Trapilo’s Father

Steve Trapilo is the late father of Ozzy Trapilo. He was a former American football offensive lineman for the Boston College Eagles. He later competed in the NFL as a guard. Steve Trapilo completed his graduation from Carroll School of Management with a major in management stream. He was the recipient of the Gaffney Family Scholarship Fund and the Robert J. LeBlanc Scholarship Fund.

During his tenure, he was mentioned by the United Press International and Associated Press as a second-team All-American. Trapilo played 57 games and started 52 games with one fumble. Steve Trapilo passed away at the age of 39 in May 2004 after suffering a heart attack. Ozzy Trapilo was two when his father passed away.
