Before college, Williams played his high school football for Hueytown located in Birmingham, Alabama. He is a former four-star recruit and in his junior season, he ran for 2,757 yards and 32 touchdowns, 21 receptions for 216 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Williams is rated 7th best running back in the nation and is expected to have one year of college eligibility remaining. Williams is expected to enter the 2025 NFL draft after the conclusion of the 2024 college football season.
