Trent Williams is an American football offensive tackle for the San Francisco 49ers of the NFL. He played college football at Oklahoma, where he was recognized as an All-American in 2009, and was drafted by the Washington Redskins (now Washington Commanders) fourth overall in the 2010 NFL Draft. Williams is considered one of the best tackles in the league, having made eleven Pro Bowls in his 14 seasons as of 2024. Over his illustrious career, he was also named Second-team All-Pro in 2015 and enjoyed a late-career year in 2021, being named to his first First-team All-Pro. Since 2021, he has been named to three straight First-team All-Pro as of 2024. The Texas native attended Longview High School and played football for the Longview Lobos High School team. He represented the Oklahoma Sooners football team for 4 years from 2006 to 2009. In 2022, Trent was inducted into Washington's Greatest Players list in honor of the franchise’s 90th anniversary. He has been ranked in the NFL Top 100 Players List by his peers every year since coming to the Bay Area in 2021. Williams was ranked 1st by various executives, scouts, and coaches in the top 10 offensive tackles survey done by ESPN in July 2024.
