Henry Louis "Trey" Smith, an offensive lineman (guard) for the Kansas City Chiefs, was selected at the 2021 NFL Draft in the sixth round as the #226 pick. The two-time Super Bowl champion in 2022 and 2023 has played in 66 regular-season games with the Chiefs as of week 17 of the 2024 NFL season. In his rookie season, he was named to the NFL All-Rookie Team. Smith was named to his first Pro Bowl for the 2024 season. He was also a second-team All-SEC honoree in 2017 and a first-team All-SEC honoree in 2019 and 2020.

The all-state offensive lineman for three years, Smith, went to the University School of Jackson in Tennessee, after which he was ranked as the best prospect in the country by ESPN in 2017; the five-star recruit went to the University of Tennessee. As a rookie, he started every one of the 12 games, initially at right guard and then at left tackle. However, he was forced to take a half-season off in 2018 owing to lung clots. He was cleared to resume playing left guard for the rest of his junior and final years.
