Tyler Shough is an American quarterback who played his final year of college football with the Louisville Cardinals in 2024. He attended Hamilton High School, where he was rated one of the top quarterbacks in the country. The Chandler native threw for 3,071 passing yards and 30 touchdowns as a senior in 2017 and committed to the Oregon Ducks to start his collegiate football journey. Shough was rated the No.1 prospect in the state of Arizona and was regarded as a consensus four-star recruit by major sports outlets.
Tyler Shough received offers from Arizona State, California, Colorado State, Florida State, Georgia, and Michigan, among several others. He spent three seasons with the Oregon Ducks before moving to Texas Tech in 2021 with three years of eligibility remaining. In the next three years with the Red Raiders, Tyler registered 2,922 passing yards and 20 touchdowns before entering the transfer portal in November 2023. Tyler played for the Louisville Cardinals for his seventh and final season of college football in 2024.
