Dawson Alan Knox is a professional American football tight end for the Buffalo Bills in the NFL, as of 2024. Knox was drafted by the Buffalo Bills with the 96th pick in the third round of the 2019 NFL draft. Knox scored his first touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3 of his debut season and recorded 28 receptions for 388 yards and two touchdowns by the end of his rookie year. Knox had two fumbles, three touchdowns, and 24 catches for 288 yards the following season. In 2022, Knox extended his contract with the Bills for a further four years, making him one of the NFL's highest-paid tight ends. Knox ended the 2023 season with 22 catches for 186 yards and two touchdowns despite being placed on the injured reserve.

As a walk-on, Knox committed to play NCAA football at the University of Mississippi. Knox had 24 catches for 321 yards during the 2017 season at Ole Miss, and in his junior year, he had a total of 15 receptions for 284 yards. Knox decided to bypass his senior year and enter the NFL draft in 2019. Prior to playing football at the collegiate level, Knox was a quarterback and a wide receiver at Brentwood Academy and St. Paul Christian Academy.
