Rachaad White is an American football running back for the Kansas Tampa Bay Buccaneers as of the 2024 NFL season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected him as the 91st overall pick in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Born on January 12, 1999, in Kansas City, Missouri, U.S., the running back grew up in Missouri and attended Center High School. In his senior year, he amassed 1,325 rushing yards, achieving a total of over 2,000 all-purpose yards, earning him the prestigious title of first-team Class 3A All-State. He decided to commit himself to the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He began his college journey at Nebraska–Kearney, where he was a redshirted his true freshman year. He, however, transferred to Mt. San Antonio College in 2018. During his sophomore season there, he achieved notable success by rushing for 1,264 yards and scoring 10 touchdowns. He joined Arizona State University in 2020, White made an immediate impact in his first season, rushing for 420 yards with five touchdowns and showcasing versatility by catching eight passes for 151 yards and one touchdown.

He became the first Arizona State player since 1949 to lead the team in both rushing and receiving yards. As a senior, White continued his stellar performance, rushing for 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns, while also contributing significantly in the passing game with 43 receptions for 456 yards and one touchdown. He also had standout performances, including a remarkable 28-carry, 202 rushing yards, and three rushing touchdowns against USC, followed by a compelling 32-carry, 184 rushing yards, and two rushing touchdowns against Washington. After rushing for 481 yards in his NFL rookie season in 2022, White broke out during his sophomore campaign as he went on to record 990 yards on the ground.
