Carson Wentz has signed a new one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs for the 2024 NFL season after having affiliations with four different NFL teams. In the 2016 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected Wentz with the number 2 overall pick. While there, he won several accolades including the Super Bowl by defeating the New England Patriots.

When the Eagles went on an 11-2 run and won the Super Bowl in 2017, Wentz had his best season. Due to injuries that prevented him from reaching his full potential, the Eagles finally moved him to the Indianapolis Colts. He was then traded to the Washington Commanders after just one year with the Colts. However, ever since he left the Eagles he has been moving around year after year and after his one-year stint with the Commanders, he joined the Los Angeles Rams for the 2023 season as a backup to Matthew Stafford.
