The Phoenix Suns drafted Devin Booker with the 13th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. Considered by many as one of the best shooting guards in the league, Booker helped the Suns reach the NBA Finals in 2021.

In the 2022/23 regular season, Booker became the first player in Suns’ history to average at least 35 ppg in four consecutive games. In the playoffs, he averaged 33.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.8 blocks per game. Additionally, he shot 58.5% from the field in the postseason, including 50.8% from deep. Despite his team losing to eventual NBA champions the Denver Nuggets in six games, he ensured that the Suns were the only team to beat the Nuggets more than once in the playoffs.

Booker has also won the gold medal for Team USA at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
