Baker Reagan Mayfield is an American NFL quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2024 NFL season. He was selected as the first overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. During his rookie season with the Browns, he recorded 3,725 passing yards, 27 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions, earning a spot on the 2018 PFWA All-Rookie Team. Before joining the Buccaneers in 2023, he also played for the Carolina Panthers and the Los Angeles Rams. Following his first season with the Buccaneers, he was selected for the 2023 Pro Bowl.
Mayfield played college football at Texas Tech University in 2013 before transferring to the University of Oklahoma, where he played from 2014 to 2017.
