Rashee Rice’s Net Worth
Rashee Rice - Kansas City Chiefs vs. Arizona Cardinals

The Kansas City Chiefs had a difficult season, to say the least, and their receivers had a hard time catching any passes. Their rookie receiver however might just be the new weapon they need for their offense. Rashee Rice was drafted in the 2023 NFL draft in the 2nd round as the 55th overall pick. In his early days, Rice played for Richland High School where he was rated as a three-star recruit and later committed to play college football for SMU (Southern Methodist University). He finished his college season with 233 receptions, 3111 receiving yards, and 25 receiving touchdowns.

During the 2023 regular season, Rice broke a significant record. He is now the sole record holder for the most receiving touchdowns by a Chiefs rookie with 7 TDs. However, it does not end there. In his first-ever playoff matchup against the Miami Dolphins, Rice had the most receiving yards in a playoff game by any rookie receiver in the franchise’s history. He went off in his playoff debut where he turned 12 pass targets into 8 receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown.

Rice has already become QB Patrick Mahomes favorite receiver and for obvious reasons. The rookie displayed excellent hands catching 77.5 percent of his catches. At 6 feet 2 inches and 203 pounds, Rice is strong and can fight for yards after the catch. Rice also displayed polished route-running skills and was able to create separation against zone and man coverages.

After a full season of films to study, it is safe to say that Rice could be a great asset in the future for the Chiefs. While his consistency could use some further development, his upside looks scary. Despite the Chiefs having an average season, Rice and his squad have defeated the Baltimore Ravens to book their spot in Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers. The Chiefs overcame a difficult 49ers team and won Super Bowl LVIII giving Rice his first ring in his rookie year itself.
