Alejandro Galvez Jimena Biography

Alejandro 'Álex' Gálvez Jimena is a Spanish footballer who plays as a central defender or defensive midfielder for Rayo Vallecano. He is popularly known as Alex Galvez. He started his youth career with Albacete Balompie in season 2004-07 and moved to Villarreal CF played in season 2007-08. Thereafter, for one season he was loaned to CD Onda and played in Segunda División B with CF Villanovense and Sporting de Gijón's reserves in the next two seasons that followed. On 13 December 2011, Gálvez made his debut with the Asturians' first team, in a Copa del Rey match against RCD Mallorca. The following year, on January 15 2012, he made his first La Liga appearance, scoring the first goal of the game in an eventual 2–1 home triumph over Málaga CF. Finally, he signed a two-year contract with Rayo Vallecano on July 18th, 2012. The world witnessed significant matches and powerful performances from Alejandro and expects even more in the yeaqrs to come.
