Andy Reid is married to Tammy Reid. She was born in New York on Nov. 6, 1959. The couple after many years of dating got married in 1981 and since they have been together. They have been with each other for almost 40 years now. The Chiefs' head coach, Reid has stated multiple times that he considers Tammy as his number one supporter. She and Andy went to the same university in Brigham.

Tammy has also stated multiple times that as soon as she saw Reid she wanted to ask him out. The couple since their marriage have been blessed with five children and they have been open about their son's drug issues. In general, the Reids are one of the most loving families. They are there for each other in their best times as well as for the bad times.

Tammy Ried went to Brigham Young University (BYU) in Utah for her higher education. Having been born in New York, she was later brought up in Tennessee and then moved to Arizona. The couple bonded well over various sports in college as both of them played tennis, racquetball, badminton, etc. with each other. At BYU, Tammy Reid decided to study physical education.

She started working with Laurel House in Philadelphia which is a domestic violence charity. She took a keen interest in this organization and even joined Laurel House's advisory board. She took an active part in planning and executing various events such as yearly galas and new projects.
