2017 NASCAR playoffs: Round of 8 standings, schedule after Kevin Harvick wins at Texas
Texas' race shook up the NASCAR Cup Series playoff standings.
Kevin Harvick joined Kyle Busch in the championship race at Homestead on Nov. 19 after winning Sunday's AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.
Harvick got around Martin Truex Jr. with 10 laps remaining and held on for the win. Truex finished second but clinched a spot in the title race with his second-place finish. Only one spot remains in the four-driver championship race with five drivers contending for the spot at Phoenix.
Brad Keselowski is currently the final driver in the title race, holding a 19-point lead over Denny Hamlin. Hendrick Motorsports teammates Chase Elliott and Jimmie Johnson need a win if they are to advance.

2017 NASCAR playoff rules
"Win and you're in." Just like regular-season races, winners move on to the next round. The remaining playoff events will feature stage racing, with playoff bonus points up for grabs that drivers can take to the next round.
Points are reset before the Round of 12 and Round of 8. The Championship 4 drivers will race straight up at Homestead-Miami Speedway for the title.
Next Sunday at Phoenix, four drivers will be eliminated from the playoffs based on points, setting the stage for the championship race.
